Beginning with the Warcraft 3 game "Run Kitty Run," Runling games have long involved a compilation of heroes avoiding and dodging drones, reviving teammates, and advancing levels to ultimately defeat final bosses - to touch a drone is to face ultimate burrow-like death, praying for a hero to come and dig up one's desperate-to-dodge corpse. Through intense micro, players may gain level upon level never facing an insufferable death at the hands of the rotten drones, boosting speed and energy, learning abilities, and inevitably becoming a greater Runling capable of leading hordes of future Runling heroes to their victory.
Many Runling games have existed. Few champions have arisen.
For now, the drones still wander amidst the spiral lanes and no-way-out sandboxes, capable of causing devastating casualties to our armies. We have fought and we have defended, but the time to go on the offensive is near. We require all who consider themselves worthy of the honor of eliminating such a tremendous enemy.
Throughout this website there is a plethora of information regarding the several Runling Run games. Fully covered are Runling Run 4 and 7 (archived), and Survivorling Arena.
Clicking the "RLR4" menu option would open an external link to DreaM's website dedicated to RLR4, where vast piles of information await your unearthing. The "Beginner's Guide to RLR4" is currently under construction but will soon provide in-depth experience tables, boss strategy, hotkey information, leveling strategies, and so much more.
