One of the best skills in Runling Run, Snap Freeze stops all drones near the Consular for a short-to-medium amount of time. At max level, the freeze will last for eight seconds. In Runling Run 7, a timer was added to the drones so runners may know exactly when the bastards will start moving again.
Snap Freeze can be used as a panic button; as protection when reviving a teammate; to gain an advantage when beginning a tough round by stopping a large group of drones right away; and for trolling. Take care not to take the description to the right too much to heart: while frozen, drones ARE NOT harmless. Running into one will still kill you. |
Consular emergency skill Tunnel is nearly game breaking. Let's just get that part out of the way. Most Consulars will save it for a major emergency, however, as opposed to using it every lane they can.
When using Tunnel, the Consular will burrow much like if he had died, but whilst very much alive, mobile, and invulnerable. New to Runling Run 7, points into Tunnel also provide a passive bonus to speed while not in a state of burrow. The bonus is 0.4 movement speed per level. |
A new and nifty skill, Absolute Zero coats Runlings that enter its powerful blizzard in a shield of ice, keeping drones from making contact. This effect persists outside of the storm for a short time, until the shield eventually melts away. This is a powerful group shield, and comes at a hefty energy cost.
See the video below for a demonstration of Absolute Zero. |
